The Style

In American films, the French style of dress is extreme: On one hand, people are “ultra-lookés” shopping  while dressed in Chanel and Dior) because Paris is the fashion capital of the world. On the other hand, some directors are also stuck in the time period of the Liberation, creating images of French people in berets with big moustaches. We also note that the waiters are all dressed in strict manner, as if all the bistros of Paris forced their staff to wear the same shirt, jacket, and apron.
